INVERTER FOR YOUR SOLAR KIT

AIMS PURE SINE WAVE 12 VOLT 3000 WATT INVERTER/CHARGER*

Okay, so this is when the solar kit starts to feel a little technical, but basically, this bad boy inverts the DC power that comes through our solar panels to our batteries into AC power that we can use for our everyday appliances. Really basic, AC power is the kind of electricity your house runs on. This inverter goes a step further, though, and becomes a battery charger for those times you want to hook up to that shore power (a.k.a. the city’s electricity), which we access through a plug that we’ll install on the outside of our bus, instead of the solar panels. All RV’s are equipped with a shore power plug. Not exactly sure what Pure Sine means, other than it provides a more efficient flow of power than modified sine. Some inverters are modified sine. Also, this inverter is pretty affordable compared to others we’ve seen.
